Automatic and massive translations for eCommerce

Thanks to the Google Translate connector it is possible to carry out the massive and automatic translation of an entire product catalog in a few minutes. In line with the operating principles of bindCommerce, the translations can then be used to manage the publication in each connected sales channel ( eCommerce and marketplace platforms).  

Which languages

How much?

The Google Translate connector is available for use in all bindCommerce plans (also for the free plan).

The charge on use is "translated". It is possible to purchase prepaid packages multiple of 20 €.

Rate: € 20.00 + VAT for every 100,000 characters translated

To evaluate your credit needs, consider the following hypotheses:

• Translation of products for which only the title is present, with an average of 60 characters . With 100,000 characters, it will be possible to translate on average 1,660 products (1660 products in an alternative language, or 830 in 2 languages, or 550 products in 3 languages)
• Translation of products for which the title is present (60 characters) and a brief description (200 characters). With 100,000 characters, it will be possible to translate on average 390 products in an alternative language, or 190 products in 2 languages

In the cost assessments, keep in mind that the connector communicates with the Google Translate service, sending the text to be translated, receiving the reply, and copying it in the description in the language. A second connector then takes care of publishing the translation on the language version of the shop. Taking into consideration the first example (1,600 products with only title), the whole operation can be carried out in about 20 minutes (including the configuration of the connectors), compared to an estimated time of a human being equal to at least 9 hours.
