bindCommerce offers native integration with Icecat (http://icecat.it/), a worldwide catalog of product sheets .

Thanks to this functionality, bindCommerce users will be able to automatically enrich their product database by adding the missing information on the products treated. It is possible to ask bindCommerce to query Icecat by providing the EAN code as search parameters, or the brand and model , as well as the desired language (the answers are in multilingual).

The information returned by Icecat can be the following:

• Product title
• Short description
• Full description
• Main photo
• Additional photo gallery
• Attributes (e.g. memory, size, etc.)

All the information can then be used to create or enrich the product data sheets that can be published on its website and on the integrated marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, etc ...).

The system can be useful both to the seller who has his own warehouse (and who inserts the products through his own management), as well as to the seller in Dropshipping , who receives from his supplier a list of products not accompanied by from descriptions.

The database is made available in the following ways:

• Open Icecat is the free section produced in collaboration with the main High-Tech brands (around 300). The Open Icecat product sheets are approved by the sponsor brands and are distributed free of charge to the online channel. Open Icecat contains over half a million data sheets in the IT, CE, Telecom and Office sectors.
• Full Icecat contains rich product information from over 6500 brands. The data collected by the Icecat team, and a paid subscription is required for their use
