Category matching

To publish the listings on AliExpress, it will first be necessary to perform the combinations between the categories present on bindCommerce and those provided by the marketplace.

To make sure that the categories are correctly matched it will be necessary to create the related matches directly on bindCommerce, from the menu:

Marketplace >> AliExpress >> Category matching

Click on ADD and fill in the fields as follows:

• Category bindCommerce: select the category on bindCommerce that you want to associate with the reference category on AliExpress
• Category AliExpress: select the AliExpress category (or click on the magnifying glass symbol to access the complete list of categories) that you think may correspond to your reference category
• Attribute AliExpress: based on the selected category, the list of this field will be updated, with the attributes required for the category in question
• Attribute bindCommerce: select the corresponding bindCommerce attribute for each mandatory AliExpress attribute. For each mandatory AliExpress attribute, you can create a match by adding a new field by clicking on the green “+” symbol on the right

Click on SAVE AND CLOSE and repeat the same operation for all the bindCommerce categories that contain products to be published on the marketplace.
