However, the feasibility of the individual integration processes is subject to the possibilities offered by the billing software adopted by the customer.
According to the authorizations of the billing software, 3 cases are therefore possible.
Case 1: Amazon creates the invoices on behalf of the seller.
In this case bindCommerce acquires the information relating to the invoices issued by Amazon and can send them to the administrative management systems enabled to receive them, in order to carry out the appropriate accounting reunions.

Case 2: Amazon calculates the VAT and the seller automatically issues the invoice with its billing software.

Technical Specifications: Tax Remittance and API Architecture
For advanced billing management and synchronization with local ERP architectures, bindCommerce relies on the upstream capabilities granted by the Tax Remittance restricted role.
API Endpoints and Data Nodes Handled:
- Orders API Framework: The platform queries order datasets to retrieve foundational invoicing variables. In our upcoming architecture update, this role explicitly grants access to the restricted BUYER and TAX nodes via the includedData parameter (GET /orders/2026-01-01/orders/{orderId}).
- Tax and Invoicing Reports: The application relies on specific report data streams, including GET_FLAT_FILE_VAT_INVOICE_DATA_REPORT, SC_VAT_TAX_REPORT, and GET_FLAT_FILE_ORDER_REPORT_DATA_INVOICING, to map exact tax breakdowns into the merchant’s accounting ledger.
Calculation Accuracy and Logic
bindCommerce acts as a secure data bridge. It pulls the native VAT calculations and tax breakdowns processed by Amazon (including Amazon VAT Calculation Service - VCS/VCS Lite reports like VIDR), ensures data freshness upon each synchronization cycle, and injects them without unauthorized modifications into the connected ERP. This guarantees that the electronic invoices issued by the seller’s local billing system perfectly match Amazon’s records, fulfilling both Amazon’s policies and local fiscal regulations.
