Paypal is a payment system that allows you to carry out money transfer operations in an easy, fast and secure way.
In fact, the system does not transmit the sensitive data of the cards connected to the account, in addition, insurance and money recovery services are available in the event of fraud.
PayPal also offers additional protection for buyers and sellers who use PayPal on eBay. The protection covers the entire amount of the purchase (shipping costs included) if the object is not delivered or is significantly different from the description.
Sellers are also granted extended protection against losses due to claims for fraudulent payments and items not received.
Through the integration with the bindCommerce platform it is possible to download and view the transactions carried out, querying the system starting from eBay orders or other connected platforms. From this point of view, the data that can be obtained from the integration with PayPal are more detailed than the aggregate data that eBay can provide; in fact, information on partial refunds, disputes, etc. is also available.
PayPal node installation
The installation of the PayPal node in bindCommerce is done from the menu
Process >> Nodes
Click on Add.
After selecting the "PayPal" node type and clicking on SAVE AND CONTINUE, the specific parameters that can be obtained from the PayPal site will be requested, namely:
- PayPal API Username
- PayPal API Password
- PayPal API Signature
To obtain these parameters it is necessary to log in to the PayPal account.
Finally click on SAVE AND CLOSE.
